Chapter 59: Tough Weekend

Hey;

Well, finally I can get a break to post at the a little something here. I'm more the less just breathing in and out, in the matter of words. I have no clue what to write this time around! ha! Which is totally unusual for me - stuck for words! ha!

Well, 'tough weekend' is just a small phrase that I put on this weekend.

First, I go to drive' - Grrr.... I really think they should take that off the computers, it's more annoying thenwork at 1, and guess what - someone restarted the computer and I lost all my hard work that I done to the Town's Website I know for a 100% fact I saved it all, BUT - but, I never saved it on 'T good. The computers were doing just fine before Trevor put that program on... ha! Oh well, it's all good.

Anyways, around 2ish my sister called and told me that my other sister (Pam) was in a car accident. Basically, she hit loose gravel, swerved a few times and then she went over the side of the road - dug in and flipped over and few times. Amazingly she jumped out of the car and crawled to the road where a good samaritan picked her up and brough her to the house where we took her to the hospital. With the damage done to the car, it's surprising that this blog has a happy ending. Pam only had a few scraps, cuts, bumps and bruises - that's all, well and them emotional trama that goes along with the accident.

I can't even put the words in here that can describe how AWESOME God is. Just when the devil had life in his grasp, God's hand rested upon that car and her life and she 'walked out of it'... WOW!

Anyways, thank God that Pam's ok.. and hope you (and Pam) realizes that there might not be any second chances - she is one of the lucky ones!

So yeah, World Geography Public on Tuesday - it's not gonna be hard, but LONG! YAWN! According to how bored I was with the English one, I'll die with the Geography one! haha! I'm taking Monday off work so that I can study ALL day, as well as today. I was planning to take Saturday night off to study, but as you can tell, my mind was elsewhere last night. But yeah, wish me luck at the least! Say a little pray for me too - that I'll be smart enough to do good.. hehe!

Anyways, Yeah.. I'm outta here!

Peace
Prayers
~Josh

PS. It's pretty bad now, my 50th blog was back when we had the wake-a-thon in school, school is pretty much out now and it was even before Grad, and Grad has been over for a month.. ha! Shame, I haven't blogged 10 times in over a month, been a busy time! Peace!

Chapter 58: Random Thoughts

Hey Everyone,

So a couple of you read my blog about 'Non-Christian friends' eh? Or at the least a few people have commented about it, either on MSN or in person to me. Good stuff, as long as someone is reading it and the main thing (that I hope for) getting something from it. Praise the Lord... ha!

Anyways, God is good! Amen to that one eh?

Well then, let's see. This is my 58th blog - nothing special about this one. I'm actually planning to make it to 100 by the time I move to Edmonton (which is 77 days from today-hopefully)!! WOOT! Not a promise, but a promise to try at the least!

All I done today was study for English, I have a public to write tomorrow.. (yipee..) I think I'll do good. I just hate that stupid MacBeth play... I hate that stuff... so blah! haha! Anyways, yeah..

I'm just blabbling on and on now.. I have three other people talking to me on MSN and to be honest, that is more fun then blogging at the moment. I have to work tomorrow so, I shalt be off. Idol @ 9:30 and then bed.. ha! Might go over a few more terms.. again.. ha!

Peace
Prayers

Chapter 57: Bad Company Corrupts Good Character

Hey;

Welcome back to the Blog of Josh! Ha! I should be welcoming myself back I guess, it's been a while. I've promised you all that even though I work full time now, I would still keep up with the whole blogging thing and thus fulfilling my promise as of right now. But yeah, I promise that there will be more to come throughout the summer as well.
So, for sure everyone will ask about THIS (posts) Title.... 'Bad Company Corrupts Good Character'! I think it's quite good actually. It's a verse that I came across as I was doing my devotion for today. Well, to be totally honest, I never 'came across it' - I 'looked' for it for a reason. Here's the story:

I got off work last night around 9(ish). As I was walking home, I was stopped by someone who asked me the simple question 'should a Christian hang around with non-Christians?'. Playing it smart I never shot an answer out right quick. Instead I took the advise Mr. Chipp always gave me 'A still tongue makes a wise head'. I gave it a shot - being 'still' that is, thought, and then gave back my answer.

I'm not gonna come right out and say my answer on here, but I will back my answer up with biblical scripture, thus giving you a clear perspective of what I think the answer (to the question asked) is.

If we look at the book of Proverbs (Chapter 12:26) ' A righteous man is cautious in friendship, but the way of the wicked leads them astray' - it clearly shows that a 'righteous' person is cautious in friendships and it clearly states that 'the ways of the wicked leads them astray'. Now don't think I am saying that all 'non-Christians' are 'wicked' -cause I'm not. So again, if we look at that - and apply that 'everything affects us' and my personal favorite 'our atmosphere affects our attitude' if we are 'around' the 'wicked' (aka: non-Christians) then we WILL (not maybe, or 'for some' -WILL) effect us. If we (as Christians) are putting ourselves in an atmosphere of wickedness, then to the obviously degree... Our ways will become wicked.

Secondly, Proverbs 13:20 'He who walks with the wise grows wise, but a companion of fools suffers harm' - you can easily piece this together yourselves. If you want to be wise stick with the wise. If you want to be a fool, stick with the fools.

Thirdly, Proverbs 14:7 'Stay away from a foolish man, for you will not find knowledge on his lips'
Clearly it states that we are to 'stay away' from a foolish man. Again, another obvious meaning.

Proverbs 24:21 'Fear the LORD and the king, my son, and do not join with the rebellious'
Again, God is being VERY clear on his intentions for us. 'DO NOT JOIN' with the rebellious. As Christians, God don't want us to let our friends be totally the opposite of what and who we are. 'How can light live with darkness'? 'How can goodness partner with evil'? It CAN'T!

2 Corinthians 6:14 'Don't team up with those who are unbelievers'. God is again, clearly telling us what to do.

1 Corinthians 15:33 'Do not be misled: "Bad company corrupts good character."

Inclosing, God is clear, His word is clear and His intentions are clear. I'm not saying that we should not be friends with unbelievers but rather our SOLE purpose for becoming friends with them should be to win them over for Christ by letting out Christ like attitudes shine through and every opportunity that you (and I) get we should witness about Christ to them.

Again, God is clear through His word.

To the person who asked me this question, if you ever read this post - I hope I helped solve your answer. I have used strict biblical support and have done my research.
To other readers, both Christian and non-Christians, I hope I helped you in some way. I pray that God will be convicting on your souls and that we would just grow together in Christ like He ask us too.

Peace
Prayers
~Josh

Chapter 55: TAYLOR WON

OH.. I ALMOST FORGOT...

TAYLOR WON!!

Chapter 54: A Little Bit Of Everything

Hey Everyone;

WOW! It's been a while. A number of people have been complaining that I haven't been blogging in a while - I didn't know that ye all cared so much. A LOT of people have been asking to see some grad pictures. I emailed them to 50 people so hopefully that suited everyone, some people did complain however that the pictures were to big. Oh well, at least you got them! :)

So yeah, it's been a while. I wasn't in an overly good mood for ALL May month and my 'inspiration' was running low.. it's a new month so I figured there was no point in allowing the 'bad month' continue into my new month. :)

Well, here is a picture of all of us at the grad:

Anyways, I applied for the CAP Youth Intern and finaly had my interview last night at 7:45. It went over really well, despite the quick nervousness I experienced just before it took place, but yeah - it went over well cause I GOT THE JOB! :) - snaps for me... :)

But yeah, I start Monday and I can't wait. I'll try to post more later but again, with the rate I'm going now, I won't even think about blogging while I'm working all summer.. ha! JK - I'll find time - promise! :)

But yeah, I'm in school now... ha! I'm suppose to be doing Visual Basics but Tash is not here and I done my share, so there is one more part left to do and I'm making Tash do it! ha!

Anyways, I should be going... I have things to do. -yeah.. sure.. ha!

Peace
