Umm.. okay - April told me to blog and I was totally singing a Carrie Underwood song - OUCH! I totally hate Carrie Underwood's songs.. ha! I don't even know which it was - all I know I was singing the words 'let the weak be strong'... bahaha!

Anyways, let me start this blog over;

Hey Everyone;

Chapter 73: I Ain't Cheep Either

Hey;

So, how was everyone's day? Mine was actually good because this is the first day (since 11am at the least) that my head hasn't been hurting VERY bad! :) I'm actually proud that I haven't taken a pill in about 10:30ish - it's not fun and I HATE taking pills, BUT when it comes to pain in my head I can't handle it therefore pills come in handy.

Anyways, if you haven't noticed (if you didn't leave now.. haha) I have a new look - again. I'm still looking around for 'the one' but I actually like this one. I'm trying to fix up a few bugs it has but nothing major so... it's all good. This one looks a little more 'grown up' if you wish, which is the kind of look I'm going for. :)

Anyways, that's not the point of this blog, but rather I just wanted to very simply comment on something I just watched on TV. I got home from work and sat down with a hamburger(yes, it was my supper) I flicked on the Prayer Palace. The pastor on there was singing 'I was bought by God' and when he stopped he said 'I wasn't cheep either'. I'll admit that I wasn't really listening to the words of the song but caught the last part. When he said that comment I just stared at the screen. I didn't get it. - Until he started to sing again.
But hey, 'I'M NOT CHEEP'! I'm not! I was bought with a price, and it what it costed is just a 'tad bit more' then ANYONE else is willing to pay for me. Some people might not even pay a nickle for me, while others might just pay a toonie or two but there is ONE person that paid for me, all of me. Jesus paid the ultimate price for me when he took my place on the cross. When he shed his blood and gave himself for me - THAT was what he paid with - His life!
Jesus not ony paid for me, but he paid for YOU! That's right, when he died - he died for YOU too!
After the pastor from Prayer Palace sang, he opened it up to anyone who wanted to 'come to know Jesus as their personal saviour'. I want to invite you to do that as well. It doesn't matter where you are, who you are or what you have done in your life. Jesus paid for ALL of it and he WANTS to have you, all of you. I trust that you would make the lifelong choice to live for Jesus and be a part of the eternal life that HE offers so freely.

God Bless

Chapter 72: I Prepare For Battle On My Knees

Hey Everyone;

It's a new day - a new life - and I'm feeling good! Despite the pain I'm in since I had my tooth pulled last week (it's still healing) I'm doing awesome now. :)
Okay, I'm only here for a second but I have to post the lyrics to this BEAUTIFUL SONG! It's called 'I Prepare For Battle On My Knees' sung by the Crabb Family. Rudy sent me the song via MSN a few weeks back and I have listened to it a few times but now it's growing on me. The more I think of it - I live by this song. If we want to get through ANY battle, we HAVE to get on our knees first. I find such comfort in this song and I think you will too. Anyways, that's all I had to say at the moment. Other then this, I'm working on a mini 'sermon' if you wish to call it that, it's rather a 'personal devotion' but once it's done I'll post it. So far it's been helping me at this point in my life!

Enjoy the lyrics:

What an honor to be called a "Soldier of the Cross
An army that has never turned back
And never suffered loss
Our weapons are not carnal, our strong
hold you can't see
This army becomes mighty by time spent on our knees.

I'm not ashamed for you to see
This soldier on his knees
You might even see a tear or hear a humble plea
Some may call it weakness
Some may question my strength
Oh, but you must see this power's not of me
I prepare for battle on my knees

I've watched mothers pray for children
So lost and full of sin
And I've seen those same prayers answer
As the spirit brought them in
And I have watched old Satan
Like a dark cloud hanging o'er
But with a little talk with Jesus
The clouds were there no more

I'm not ashamed for you to see
This soldier on his knees
You might even see a tear or hear a humble plea
Some may call it weakness
Some may question my strength
Oh, but you must see this power's not of me
I prepare for battle on my knees

I prepare for battle on my knees
On my knees

Yup! Just beautiful!

Keep It
Peace

Chapter 70: What's The Point of Friends?

Hey,

Oh my, tonight is SO NOT a good night for me. I honestly TRY to help out a friend and it all backfires on me and then they get physically mad at me, then another friend butts in and takes it from there - all it done was add to the pain!

After that, I just stormed out of the house and went for a walk. I ended up on the wharf in town and just sat there - starring. It was nice though, actually peaceful. After that, I was walking towards home again and got to thinking - what is a friend?

Wikipedia defines 'friendship' as 'a term used to denote co-operative and supportive behaviour between two or more social entities' - well tonight's thing didn't show ANY co-operative OR supportive behaviour - guess that proves just what it was in the first place.

'What are friendships for anyways? Don't push me away, sometimes we all need a hand to help us to get by.' that is a new favorite song of mine but I guess it doesn't suit the moment!

Why doesn't anything work out for me lately - depressing pout! haha!

Oh well, only 58 days til Edmonton - hopefully I'll meet some friends up there, I'm sure I will.

Bah - this post it total bull - pointless... I'm more the less just clearing my head before I go to sleep... and I needed to write it somewhere.

HAVE A GOOD ONE

Chapter 69: Happy Canada Day

Hey People;

Just stopped in to wish you all a very happy Canada Day! I took a whole two minutes and drew this picture for you:

Hope you all have a safe, HAPPY and FUN weekend! :)

On a completely different note, Canadian Idol 4 has some good contestants tho eh? Since it's season FOUR, I'll list my favorite four:

Keith MacPherson
Ashley Coulter
Chad Doucette
Sheldon Elter

Now, Sheldon may be replaced and Ashley may be too - let's see how they do next week. But Keith and Chad have amazing vocals. Brandon is a favorite too - haha! Anyways, the summer is only young and we'll see alot more of them this year I'm sure! (My super early prediction is Chad for the win, or at least top 3) Again, that's an early prediction!

Anyways, yeah - that's all I had to say for now!

Have a good one

Peace

Chapter 68: Gay Mounties Marries?

Hey;

Weird title name eh? Well, this is what it is coming too I guess, but that's the Yahoo side of it all. Two 'gay' RCMP officers are tying the knot on June 30th - the day before Canada celebrates its birthday. But yeah, it's quite sad that these two men are deciding that they'll join in 'marriage' and 'share their love' for eachother - *rolls eyes* -.

Okay, once again I'm gonna try not to 'bash' the 'gay community' and don't mean anything by them, I'm sure they are al wonderful people and all but my beef with their 'lifestyle' is a religious aspect. The term 'Marriage' is defined has 'a union between one man and one woman' - that's it - no Steve and Jimmy, Sally and Mary, Kim and Sue or Waldo and Kevin - it's ADAM AND EVE! MARY AND JOSEPH, SARAH AND ABRAHAM!!! GET THE PICTURE!

POST WAS EDITED ON REQUEST
