Chapter 19: Sick and New Entertainers

Hey Everyone

How’s it going? Good I’m assuming! I’m not feeling that good today actually. I missed school today because I have (had) a really bad head ache for most of the day. My stomach has been killing me most of the day as well. I don’t know what’s wrong – but I’m not feeling that well. I had to take a Tylenol (which I like, never do cause it’s a man made drug – which I don’t like to take) Anyways, yeah – I never done anything all day because I’ve been sick. So this post is super boring! Ha!

Well, here is one thing I can tell you about:

There is a BRAND NEW entertainers out on the floor now: Natural Born Singers – They are amazing! You can check them out at www.naturalbornsingers.blogspot.com

Be sure to pass the address around and tell everyone you know! Make sure you post your comments on the site too! Anyways, yeah – I am gonna take off! I’m gonna lie down I think – besides I am watching “Friends” which is one of my favorite shows! It’s almost over tho!

Cheers People!

Prayers:

Chapter 18: Stressed out and Preachin'

Praise God!

Welcome to my newest blog. This one won’t be of any great significance or anything but (wait, does any of my blogs have significance?..lol - yes, yes they do, even if you don’t think they have it) anyways, but yeah. I am not in an overly good mood, but it’s good to be home! School was way to hectic for me today. (Which say isn’t eh? -lol) But yeah - today was just overly bad. Harvey nearly killed me this morning in Science, snooze, snooze, SNOOZE! Holy cow man! Not fit! I think I fell asleep once or twice, and to make matters worst Tash wasn’t even there. Shameful it was. -lol
Next I had Math, it was ok. Geography followed and trust me, if I had a way to get out of it I so would. We have a mid term on Thursday in it. Not fit at all. I’m thinking about dropping Academic Geography because I really wants to focus in on my English 110%! I needs English more then Geography anyways, so - yeah! I’ll see how that goes.

Anyways, Council meeting today was horrible. I won’t go into much detail because it’s all between the council members but it was one big racket. Despite the racket we managed to get it settled but it was easily seen the some people didn’t approve of it. Thank God for the good ol’ voting system - haha! Now, for the funny part - wait I won’t even, but trust me - it is a pretty good case of Karma (as if it even exist, but.. If it did..lol) Oh my, but yeah, as you can see, today was a lil’ bit stressed.

So yeah, I am reading Exodus now in my bible. Quite interesting man! Moses was an amazing person and man, how did he obey God! I’m only at chapter 10, but I only started last night. I think we all needs to catch up on our devotional time. Personally I have been neglecting it a lil’ more then I should have been. I know it’s hard to actually sit down and read and “study”, especially when you’re not a fan of reading (but I usually am)... I think it’s something we all struggle with, but man, when we do focus in and study God’s word, things happen. Praise God! You learn so much, grow so much and more besides. God really opens your eyes, and ears and just gives you a clear mind in a lot of situations. So guys, I’m encouraging you all to start reading more and more. Even when you don’t feel like it, do it anyways. Same goes to prayer. That is one thing (of a nice few things actually) that ties us closer to God. Personally prayer is the one thing that keeps me sane during the days. Now I don’t mean you kneel at your bed and pray your little heart out and fold your hands and blah, blah, blah.... suppose it’s even praying during a class at school, a few minutes at work, wherever - it really, REALLY helps - a lot! We should be spending more and more time praying and reading our Bibles and stuff... if we want to see a change, we need to change!  Praise God! We need to fix our lives entirely on God and not on the world. Anyways, I can start to preach now but I won’t - lol - but yeah, just thought I’d have my say for today!

Church was good last night, I left before “preaching” because my back and head were killing me. God moved and it’s good. Rudy told me (well his blog did..lol) all about it. God is moving guys, and we need to prepare ourselves so that we don’t be left out of His works! Anyways, yeah, I think I am gonna head off - yet again -

So yeah, thanks for listening (well really it’s reading..lol)

God Bless & Prayers

Chapter 17: Beauty, Chess and Movies

Hello Once Again,

What a bunch! Ha! I can’t believe it – this is totally shocking! It’s BEAUTIFUL outside. Holy cow! There is mild clouds but they are nice and white and they don’t look threatful at all…. And the SUN – YES THE ACTAUL SUN – is out, shining BIG and BRIGHT! The sky is bright blue and it’s wonderful! I love it! The snow looks really nice too, with the glow of the sun on it. Blinding, but nice. I am going to take the next few days and bast in the glory of the nice weather because sadly- they are calling for yet another blast of winter. Yes, another blizzard! I heard it is going to start Wednesday, I really, REALLY hope not tho. We have more then enough snow by now! I can handle this amount, but anymore I’ll be sending MYSELF to a nuthouse! Ha! That poor ol’ nuthouse – so many people make fun of it! God bless em’!

Anyways, how is everyone going? I’m assuming good. I’m good, I’ve been keeping myself busy (just for the fact that Thursday and Friday had me DROVE OUT OF MY MIND with the blizzard we had. I was up to Char’s last night. We had a game of chess. And guess what! I beat her! Ha! I nailed her at the first, nearly wiping out her side of the board, but somehow I lost all concentration and she wiped out some of mine. Finally we managed to get tied! (I had to get rid of some of mine to wipe her out for good…lol) We came down to each person had one knight and (of course) one king… we played with that for a bit and she started to argue that it was impossible for either to win, but I knew of of us could. So I proved it! I moved and moved, with a plan all sot out. And finally, I managed to get her knight. Now it was time to come in for the “kill”! Not long after I trapped her in the corner and BANG – CHECK and MATE! YEY! I loved it so much I jumped up and done my “chess-winning happy dance” (ok, that was a rip off of that “lotto 649 million dollar happy dance”..lol) and her dog ran in and started to jump on me.. So I stopped! HA! It was fun! Anyways, we all piled on one couch and watched a movie and ate chips! Ha! I wasn’t paying attention to the movie at all tho.. ha! Anyways, yeah! I went home at 11:30 and started to watch Madagascar – and now I will talk about what I done since then:

Madagascar(2005) – I love it! It is 100% hilarious. Ben Stiller (who played Alex the Lion) was so funny. I think someone else should have played him though. Chris Rock – you couldn’t ask for a better Marty (the zebra). He was born for this part! Ha! My personal favorite was Melman who was played by none-other then David Schwimmer. He is like one of THE BEST actors known to this earth (or at least modern day actors. It was amazing. I wish he played a more major character in the movie. Jada (who played Gloria) was surprisingly good as well. I can think of someone who should have played her but, oh well. It all came out good!

After Madagascar I watched Shark Tale. It’s starting to get old, but hey – it’s still good! I love the way the animators made the characters look a little like the actual people playing them. (Ex. Oscar looked JUST LIKE Will Smith). It was so comical. The story had a good plot to it too. It taught (or should have at lease) that people can try to look different from what they really are, but in the end, you are still the same person as you always were. And another thing was that - Don’t change who you really are just to impress someone. Be yourself, everyone likes you better when you are. So yeah! Anyways, it’s a pretty good movie and props to the crew that made it.

After that one, I watch the brand new – FLIGHTPLAN! And man, wasn’t it good! It HAS to make it into my “favorites list” and might just even make it to be the number one (for now). It is simply amazing. The actors/actresses are amazing. The movie is so suspenseful and surprisingly clean. And by that I mean there is a minimal amount of swearing/cussing. There was only one time I really noticed it actually. Goes to show all those people who says “you can’t find a good movie without swearing in it” are WRONG. Anyone that says this HAVEN’T seen Flightplan. And to anyone who says that, (about swearing in movies) you can slap this movie right in their face. Jodie Foster was amazing. The movie had to be written around her (and actually it was). Peter Sarsguaard was pretty good too. Foster played a mother who was flying her dead husband’s body home from Berlin to New York for burial. She got on the plan with her little girl (six year old daughter) and fell asleep shortly after with her by her side. When she woke up she was gone, so like anyone would started and look for her. After searching she begins to panic and goes to higher authority (the pilot) and he demands a search. After a while (of her freaking out) a “cop” (he wasn’t a cope but I can’t remember exactly what he was – but it’s basically the same thing) arrest her and keeps her in his eye because she’s freaking out everyone else on the plan. Reports from the pilot comes back saying the little girl never got on the plane and that she must have imagined it. The story keeps you going, on and on too! Which is pretty good. After the pilot tells her that her daughter is dead and she must be in a casket below. She runs away, and managed to get down in the deck of the plane to find one casket belonging to her husband. Thing is, it’s packed full of explosives. I’ll leave it at that, I pretty much ruined the movie for everyone now anyways but, it’s still amazing and everyone should watch it. Anyways, I wants to tell you all what happens but I won’t – just because I might have people on me to kill me after for ruining such an amazing movie for them! (lol).. so yeah, anyways… That’s it! Ha!

Anyways, I think this is starting to get way to long and people might not even read this now! But if you are, and did read down this far. Thanks for doing so!

So with that.. God Bless, Prayers and Cheers

Chapter 16: Snow, Snow And Havin' Fun

Hey Everyone;

Another day, another Post! Ha!

Well, I woke up rather early for a Saturday morning – 8am to eat breakfast and then had to go out to do the snow. It took me TWO HOURS to clear it all, and the dumb snow blower didn’t work at all and dad had to get Sterl to come and help with his tracker thingy to clear some of it. It wasn’t much fun at all. I was so tired! Ha!

Well then, Rudy and I were having some good fun today! I’ll link ya all later to it, once I can get it uploaded. You have to look at it! It is pretty big, but its worth it! Anyways…

So yeah,… what did ye do all day? There wasn’t a whole lot to do now was there? Probably clear away all the snow! We had a lot of it man – and I hate it! Ha!

Anyways, I am gonna go. I have to get ready to go up to Char’s or Kel’s for a movie or something.. give me something to do!

Prayers

Chapter 15: First Real Post Using Word...

Hey Everyone, yet again! I am so gonna plaster this blog now! I type literally dozens of things in a run of a week in Word – and now I can VERY easily post it! I’ll be using this a lot now! Even more then I have before! So be prepared for an awesome time and a lot more “random” post.. hopefully I won’t fool up in the chapter thing.. and label them all wrong. Which I am sure I will do from time to time, so don’t everyone freak out if I do! This is a warning okay! Now you can’t say I never told ya so! ;)

Well then, anyways! Now for my real blog:

Well, Guess what everyone? My Laptop is now FREE of spyware! Thanks to Rud and Jon for helping me with it and all but mostly thankin’ Scott for assisting me on what to do to make it all better! ( YEY! Thanks man!
Well, how is everyone enjoying the weather? Good I assume.. since you all wanted it so bad! ( I hate this kind of weather, now in the morning I have to wake up and go at it first thing. Plus I have CAP tomorrow and yeah, it’s not gonna be fun! The CAP better be shoveled out for me too! I remember last year I went over with Kel, and we had to wait for Nelson to come and shovel us out, and another time we walked over and I had to get a shovel and make a path all the way in! It was horrible! Ha! Anyways, I’ll make Rudy shovel a path this time around… lol… JK Rud’ by’! Ha!

So yeah, well then… We never had school for the past two days, yesterday I thought I was gonna die, but today was much better! It was a lot less stressful for me! CA’s was canceled due to all the snow too.. which su*ks cause I wanted to go so bad! ( Oh my.. another reason why I don’t like winter!  Now don’t worry – I’m not complaining that school’s closed! Ha! Well, anyways – yeah!

I am still using Word now to type/post it’s awesome man! Much better now.. (

So yeah, well it seems like I am rambling on and on and it’s not even going anywhere anymore! It’s 10:19 and I am getting tired now! Ha! “Ripley’s Believe it or not” – Right Char? Ha! Shame on us,… we haven’t talked for more then 5 minutes all day! Horrible! I miss you so much! Lol… Miss you too Kel.. But I talked to you once or twice, but still.. noone even calls me anymore! The last real conservation I had on the phone was with the secretary from Vanguard (lol) and before that was Rudy on Wednesday night! Ha! Shame on me.. I am usually stuck on the phone a lot! But yeah, anyways, I shall be going now! So, I’ll post with ya tomorrow for sure (

Prayers

Chapter 14: Testing...Testing... Is This Thing On?

Hey Everyone

This is just a test for something I am doing. I have installed “BlogForWord” – I am actually typing this in Mic. Word and hopefully it’ll post my blog (
Anyways, like I said, this is a test!

Chapter 13: Sorry

Hey Everyone
Right off the bat I want to apologize to everyone for not posting yesterday, it seems I am having some serious problems with spyware on my laptop and it’s really messing me up. I don’t really know for sure what spyware is but I was informed that there are different kinds and some serious ones are out there where they can even see exactly what you are doing. I download Spybot (a spyware removal program) and have done about 20+ scans and have deleted a number of things but yet, it still says I have some. I’m just gonna say "crap with it" and get someone to look at it, someone who knows what they are doing at lease... Ha!
Anyways, well not a whole lot is new with me - I have been having a pretty bad day today, it’s snowing, my stress level is up to the roof because of school, wondering if I will get accepted to Vanguard or not, then everything else I’m involved with, then it seems like my social life is smaller then a speck of dust, I talked to Kel and Char for like 20 minutes each today and that’s it. The rest I have been home trying to get online to post this blog and it hasn’t worked all day. I got really sick of trying and that caused me to be upset and that lead to more stressed... lol... I need a walk! lol.... but it’s a blizzard outside so I won’t be doing that today anytime soon... :( Maybe tomorrow - if the snow ever stops! There was no school all day because of it.Well anyways, yeah... I am VERY BORED and can’t even get a hold of anyone to talk to - at lease it would cut down on my boredom - I’m starting to think everyone is trying to ignore me.. lol...
Oh well.. Looks like it’s just me and you bloggie by’... I can write stuff here all I wants and if people are bored enough, they might - just might - read what I write. But at times like this, I doubt people want to read my stuff, all complaining... but hey, everyone needs to complain at some point! :)

Do you like this picture? I made it today... I'm working on a lil' message about it.. I'll let you read the verse and base it on what you think.. for now at lease... so yeah... anyways, I'm gone!

So yeah, I’m gonna take off now!

Chapter 12: American Idol +

Hey Everyone...

I am currently watching American Idol and it absolutely su*ks! :( It's horrible. They are letting all these people in who can't really sing and booting the rest of them! I feel so bad for that poor lil' girl with the Pink Hat (Rhonda Jones)... I wish she would have went through!

Anyways, I'll post more about Idol tomorrow but I'm sure I'll stand corrected!

Anyways, I'm still SUPER excited about the Conservative win in last night's election! ha! I was freaking out in school all day - everyone was mad at me cause I kept talking about it.. hehe!

Oh well..

Anyways, I'm tired now and should be in bed - but before I go I found this amazing website for you to go on... it has help me alot and yeah.. it's www.gotquestions.org it can help you learn alot and grow - however don't base everything you read on actual truth and I'll strongly advise you to read your bible and pray about whatever you read. Anyways.. yeah.. I'm gone!

Chapter 11: About Time - Now To A Better Canada

Hey Everyone...

I'm super glad that the Conservative Part has won the minority Government... I was rooting for a Majority, but hey... taking power from the 12 Liberal's is awesome and it's a great way to start off the new year! Like Conservative elected MP (Manning) said last night in his victory speech "Happy New Year".... :) Yey!

Here's how the votes went down:

124 Seats

103 Seats

51 Seats

29 Seats

1 Seats

0 Seats

That's how it all went down! I think it was awesome... My First "Real" election that I followed from start to finish.... YEY! I love it!

Anyways, I'm in school.. I have my work done so I'm having a free class! SO yeah.. God Bless & Prayers

Chapter 9: That's What Friends Are For...

Hey Ye'all... It's me yet again... so don't complain that I'm the only one here.. after all - it's the whole point of the blog, for me to come and "vent" as such! :)

Anyways, yeah... I was thinking all day how much I was going to miss everyone once I left school! It's gonna be so hard yet, I can't wait! It's so close man, Grad is only 4 months away now - it's scary! :( But I am all excited at the same time! It's hard to believe that little ol' Josh is all grown up and is very soon out on his own to fend for himself... Now I need a wife! :) If you want to submit an application to be my wife you can send me an email at josh.thomas@hotmail.com - And now of course I shall say it was a JOKE - so I don't want any weird emails! ha!

Anyways, As for the title - I'm going to blog about friends.. the next couple of times I blog I will talk about a friend and yeah... give my two cents on them! So here goes:

Rud by’... It’s nuts man - I’m gonna have to say your one of my closest friends, and one of few people I can fully trust anything with. Your such an amazing person and truly on fire for God! It easily shows man - and it’s awesome! Like I have said many times, the internet is boring enough now, let alone when you’re not around to have a chat! God bless ya man! And as in your words "Keep Lookin’ Up"...

Jer - Another one of my closest friends. Ever since like grade 11 (for me at lease), we became pretty good friends - and it’s been awesome! Your about the most serious person I know as well (no pun intended...wait, yes there is)! Your so carefree, trustworthy, and in general a great guy. Another person I can trust pretty much anything with, and it’s good to have some like that. Council would suck man if you weren’t Vice! Ha! Just continue to seek God, have faith, believe, and hold on - cause God is gonna take you places man! I don’t care what anyone says - and neither should you! Hats off to ya!

Danielle - Now, finally a girl! I was getting a lil’ worried there for a sec! Ha! J/K...
Your just so amazing - it seems like I say that a lot.. But I mean it! Words can’t describe how much you have inspired me - you practically changed my life and I thank God for you so much! Seems like we’ll be seeing each other for the next few years(if the Lord tarries) anyways so I won’t really have to worry about missing you just yet! :)
Your such an amazing worshiper, amazingly friendly and I feel I can trust you with my life as well. It’s awesome and I love you! I’d still say we’ll be married by 30! J/K(don’t take this serious Trav by’...lol) Anyways... Keep it up and let go and let God!

Mel - My soon-to-be wife... well.. we agreed not to get married but just to be engaged, and it’ll be awesome! At lease we can say years down the road "yes by’ I was once engaged to Josh"- now won’t that be funny! I love ya Mel! You’re a super girl, one of the best around I think! You’re the one I’m gonna miss the most once we leave in June. Even though we don’t hang out a whole lot I still consider you one on my best friends. Just to hear your voice brings a smile to my face. Don’t worry Mel - things will be awesome! God only knows where you will be, and that’s the way it should be - just trust him and it’ll be fine!

Nika - Smile - God loves you and we’re trying!
Just joking hun! Your awesome! I love you to pieces and will miss you more then lets see... Mr. Chipp... ha! A teacher can be replaced but such a friend like you only comes around every like six months! Ha! Try 60 billion years! I love you so much - your smart, funny, pretty and Keith is lucky to have you! He better treat you like a queen cause you deserve to be! You’re outspoken to a degree, and that degree is when you knows you should speak out! I’m looking forward to my after life and I can come over to visit your heavenly mansion and you can come to mine.. Ha! Pour me some coffee and we can chat til the cows come home... :)
Keep it all up and wish ya the very best in life!

Andrew - How’s "Pasty" doing.. Opps, I mean "Patsy"! Man, I’m glad we’re in a lot of classes together! Science, Math, WorkPlace would all suck without ya man! Science would REALLY, REALLY SUCK without ya! The class is bad enough and the teacher ain’t a prize (hehe..joking Harvey).. But you add a lil’ enjoyment in it and considering it’s my last year, I need a lot! God bless ya man and ya... don’t walk out on the bog the next time! :) Prayers!

Okay, there is six of my friends - don't freak out at me cause you're not on here yet.. like I said, I'll be posting a number of my friends and stuff...

Anyways, I should be going, not feeling that well.. Must lie down - Cheers

Chapter 8: The Holy One

Hey guys, I am posting a poem I wrote tonight. It's more of a song but I'll call it a poem, even though it's in a song format. I even have a tune and have been singing it all night, I must say - I thought it was pretty good! (lol).. anyways... here:

The Holy One

No matter where we are
No matter how far
we seems to have gone
No matter what’s the time
No matter what’s the crime
that we commit

And after all that’s said and done
We’ll lift our hands to the holy One
To the Holy One....

And we’ll bow down to You
After all that you do
For us
And we’ll sing praises to the King
And glory we will bring
To lift Your name
To the Holy One

No matter what we face
No matter what can’t erased
From our minds
We’ll look to the skies
And watch our souls rise
To the Holy One

And we’ll bow down to You
After all that you do
For us
And we’ll sing praises to the King
And glory we will bring
To lift Your name
To the Holy One

Take our praise
Take our pain
And together we will rain
With the Holy One
With the Holy One

And we’ll bow down to You
After all that you do
For us
And we’ll sing praises to the King
And glory we will bring
To lift Your name
To the Holy One

Chapter 7: A Lil' Bit of Everything

Hey Everyone,
It's a new day, it's a new life.... and I'm feeling good! ;)
Yey!
Anyways,.... how are you all today? Me, rather good, but things haven't been the best since lunch! School problems yet again! Seems like some people think they can do whatever they wants without approval and then walk over others. :( Hopefully we can work something out where both sides benifits! If not, well... we'll just have to go on and do it - either way cause we got approval. anyways....

Yeah, I'm bored. I'm in school yet again. I am in my Intergrated Systems class, I'm suppose to be doing a "Visual Basic Chapter 5" assignement, but I'm not! ha! Oh well, it don't take to long anyways...

So... polls still showing Harper has (now) 42% of Canadians under his belt! Looks like we'll have a Conservative Majority Governement - despite Martins crappy attemps to tear them down! If he was smart he'd like pull out all together! They are so full of it! ha! NDP had I think 17%, and Liberals had 24%... ha!

Yup! Well, I'm bored - wait I already said that! ha! Oh well... Idol sucked last night! Didn't really enjoy it at all. They are focusing on the crappy singers to much :(
... it is a contest about "good" singers (despite the "bad" singers in the past years, but oh well)...
I liked that Ukraine girl was good, (even though she never made it through :(
Brooke Barrettsmith was good as well!

There was one guy (they didn't show) but he was awesome. He was a Christian artst and you can hear one of his songs on his website: www.joshroyse.com Check it out! Fairly good! Wonders why the "good" ones don't get through tho eh? Cowell was funnier then ever! I loved it! "Mad "Cow"ell ... I nearly cracked up! ;)

Anyways, yeah.. I'll be off now!
I'll be back tonight so catch ya later!

Cheers & Prayers

Chapter 6: @ The CAP

Hey everyone, yet again! This is blog two for today! The first was at school, and now I am at the CAP Site here in Burlington! Ha! I walked over here today with Requel.... It is now 2:51... normally, we'd still be in school but we were sent home cause the snow that I talked about in chapter 5, it kept up and we got a nice little bit - so they sent us home. I don't have much to say, just that I'm hungry and I'm here at the CAP with "Rudy" and Kel! Great Fun! Anyways... I'm gone, I'll post later tonight, maybe after American Idol! Be sure to watch it ;)

Chapter 5: School Time

Hey Guys,
Here I am, in school! Bored as usual! Smith forgot the work we were suppose to be doing therefore, free class! Ha! Thanks Smith! ;)
Anyways, I was online last night and posted the election update, I'm so glad that the Conservatives are in the lead. It seems like all I talk about these days, in school, at home, online... I think people are starting to be annoyed by me! ha! Oh well! There's not a whole lot to talk about today... thus far at lease! It's snowing outside, which totally sucks considering the past 4 days it was over +10degrees.... and now all of a sudden it's cut off to snow! Not a fan of snow actually! ha! But oh well! That's life I guess! I was searching for cool poems and stuff online already, and I came across this one:

A Pocket Full Of Stones
Her long, dark veil of hair
couldn't shield her from their contemptious eyes
as the chant of the crowd arose
until every tongue echoed the awful decree:
"Stone her!"
Passing by, I queried a spectator. "She was caught
in the act of adultery," the stranger replied.
Tramp! I thought, and I felt a curious weight
sag my pocket. For several blocks
my mind tortured the woman,
and I returned to find the Pharisees
had shuffled her through the crowd to Jesus' feet.
"He that is without sin among you,
let him first cast a stone," I heard Jesus say.
Their stones were silent.
Then Jesus turned to me
I was chilled by his solemn stare.
Guilt settled upon me like a fog
as my hands nervously fumbled my pockets,
and I trembled to find that they were filled with stones.
"But I didn't gather these," I pleaded.
His voice was steady."
Will you cast with your tongue
the stones which your mind has collected?"
I turned to hide in the crowd, but one by one
they had gone, and I stood alone.
So I emptied my pockets and made the stones
an altar at his feet.
Smiling warmth, he said to us--
the adulterous woman and me--
"Hath no man condemned thee?
Neither do I condemn thee:
go, and sin no more.

Well I think I am gonna head off again, and yeah... I'll blog with ya later today!

Cheers & Prayers

Chapter 4: Federal Election Update

Hey guys!
I just had to post the latest news on the Federal Election! The opposition Conservatives have taken a huge lead over the ruling Liberals and will have little trouble winning the January 23 election, two new polls showed!
Yey! Looks like we'll have a Conservative MAJORITY! Last time we had one of those was like what a few decades ago! :) YEY!!

Chapter 3: Stressed but now Calm

Hey Guys!
Wow! That's what I get for saying last week was the best week I ever had! Today makes up for all of last week. It was horrible! I'm so stressed now :( Which is not good. Now I am just sitting on my bed, listening to Kutless and I'm also reflecting back on today! I really don't want to talk about it, but everything sucked! I had all bad classes, I got like 60 odd on my WPS test, which is horrible! I had Math which was a drag (no offence Newbury but math don't interest me to the slightest), then Science, which I have an assignment due tomorrow, and a test as well, then English I have a major assignment due, and Geography, I walked in late, pushed a desk ahead and sat down, Harvey looked at me and was like "don't ever do that in my class again"... I was just there like "umm.. what"! I just said sorry even tho I didn't catch on what I did! Then the council meeting... I won't even start! Chipp freaked out at me (to me it was freaking out sir), and yeah, that's all I'll say on that. It's council business and noone else's! It was quite bad tho! But yeah.. no that it's out - I'm feeling a bit better!
So, how was everyone else's day? I bet it was just so much fun eh! Ha!
I'm slowly typing this.. I am talking to Rudy on MSN as well as this other dude (which I have no clue of who it is)... they added me yesterday but seems they can't remember. Weird! Oh well! I'll just be nice and block him! haha! Wait and see what he needs first tho! I really hate that fact tho, I make a PERSONAL email address and yet everyone in God's country find out about it! I have had all these little teen girls add me cause they read someone I was from Burlington and asked a million questions about "you knows who"... lol! I blocked them all!
Oh well.. I must be going! 4:19pm and I have to fend for myself for supper, maybe I can slap something together! ha! I'm gonna ask you all to pray for me too :) My application is gone and yeah,,.. remember that!

Cheers & Prayers
~Josh

PS> I added "but now calm" onto my title cause I got everything "released" now! ha! Great stuff this is! ;) Cheers again!

Chapter 2: Untitled

Hey

Well, I am running out of titles already! Ha! My second blog and I can’t think of a title for it. Oh well, it’ll come sooner or later. I’m gonna label my blogs now has "Chapter "whatever.... That way I can look back and it would be almost like a novel of some sort, maybe print a copy and get it published! Ha! I’m just kidding, I would never publish my personal life, even though I am now! :)
Anyways, It’s good to be able to sit back, type away and post whatever is on your mind for others to read. I can list off a dozen things to post and talk about but I’m planning to keep it to a minimum for now. I don’t want to scare people off right from the start. lol

Conservative

I can talk about the good ol’ Conservatives until the cows come home. I’m proudly supporting the Conservative political party of Canada in this upcoming election. If only I was allowed to vote in it... Mmm.. I wonder how can I scam my way in.. I should tell the Liberals that I’d vote for them if they let me vote - it wouldn’t surprise me at all if they would pull some kind of scam like that. I hear they are pretty good at coming up with em’. I just don’t understand how people can support the things they get off it. It’s all bad enough that they are all for this euthanasia, same-sex marriage, abortion, etc. but all these scandals that’s leaking out, no.. I just can’t see it. NDP are next on my list, but it’s a long shot away. They actually scare me. Their lack of interest in governing a nation really scares me. You hear them but hardly, at times like this you hear talk of them but mostly they are just sitting in the background. I’d still vote them before Liberal - what am I saying? I’d vote Bloc over Liberal! And that’s saying something. Well, I’m already sensing that you are tired of reading about who I am for in this upcoming election, so I’ll quit while I’m ahead!

Homework

Man, they certainly know how to pile on the homework eh by! Test, assignments, labs, etc. It’s all crazy! Crazy I tell ya! Actaully I find it quite annoying. I should complain, instead of stretching out assignments or test, they pick a day and say "test" and then the day before or the day after they say "assignment"... it’s horrible. Should have something put in place to protect us students from all this stress - statistics show that student stress is brought on by high levels of school related work, both work inside the classroom and outside. I stand by my first remark and claim that it’s unnecessary! But, that’s life. Your not always gonna get everything the way you want, which is kinda sad, or at lease I think it is.

Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire

I’m not "into" the novels or movies, even though people are starting to think I am. Which is another thing I find of great annoyance. I researched Ms. Rowling and what I read sparked an interest in her work, so I am slowly reading her novels and watching the movies. I got a copy of Goblet of Fire (thanks to the wonder high speed internet and the CAP) but I must say, I wasn’t overly impressed. It could be the fact that you needs to read the books but, I think not. I was very impressed by the series thus far (1,2 and 3) but the fourth one just don’t cut it for me. All choppy and shows things I think has no significant factors at all, the best part I found was the last I’d say, 20 minutes of the movie. Especially where Harry and Lord Voldermort battles it out and Harry’s parents help Harry escape. Such suspense there along with pretty good camera and graphic work. I was somewhat impressed actually. But oh well, it won’t be making it into "Josh’s Hall of Fame" anytime soon, as that fact, only one Potter movie would even come in the top 25 list, and that’s number two: Chamber of Secrets. Anyways, enough about that stuff that "comes straight from the devil"... let me see some comments on that remark now! Ha!

School Tomorrow

The weekend is over, yet again. School tomorrow. Big day actually, or should I say "busy day"! I have an English assignment to do, I gotta get my science review from Harvey, have a Student Council meeting and also Jer and I are gonna have to get the grade eight party underway. Also, gonna have to work on a newsletter for the council as well. We’re also starting the school’s website. I’m doing the Flash and putting it all together, "in charge" as Ms. Smith called it. I don’t get to work on a whole lot of the pages, basically making sure everything’s done, well put together, and choosing a template, hosting, etc. and all the other stuff that comes with it. I love it tho! Gonna be so much fun! I can’t wait to get it underway. Also, Jer is getting the school newspaper underway as well. Be sure to watch out for that too! I agreed to play a role in it. I don’t know if I’ll be the editor of it, or just co-editor. I’m gonna have to talk to Jeremy about it! We also gotta get a meeting it with Mrs Robinson and Mr Bartlett - I think we’re gonna have to talk to each class about stuff, we’ll see. Also we’re planning on taking grades 7 to 12 skating on the 13th of February. But I think we’re gonna base it on the school’s attitude. Seems like some "bad apples" (lol) are making it bad for everyone. Things are beating this up again, and it looks horrible. And as President of the Student Council, I am not going to help out the school if they won’t help us put this kind of unnecessary stuff to a halt. Oh my, I should stop now! Ha!

Anyways, I’ll probably be back a lil’ later, tonight maybe or tomorrow... I’ll for sure be here tomorrow. I’ll be here as often as I can! Anyways, have a good one and it was a pleasure:

Cheers & Prayers

Chapter 1: And It Begins

Well hello,

Glad to see you drop by to my very first blog. I had one of these once but never went anywhere with it. It was under a completly different name(host) and it was so confusing to use, or at lease I thought it was and yet again, I find a number of things confusing. Anyways, I think I have control over this one and it seems to be a great thing. I'm gonna have to admit that Rudy sparked my interest in blogging again. I use to blog on that MSN thing but gave that up as well... hopefully I'll be faithful to this one. :)
Like I said Rudy sparked my interest. I got to thinking, alot of my friends arn't on the same time frame as me and it seems like we hardly talk anymore, so this is mostly for them.... but, it's for all my friends here at home too! I'm gonna try my hardest to get everything done in the next few weeks, I'm gonna try to customise the colors and make it all look super cool, I love green so I think I'll leave it green, but who knows!
Well, this is my first blog and hopefully, if your lucky I'll be here alot! Blogging is a great place just to release whatever is on your mind. Some may read it, some may not - which is always a good thing cause I'm sure that not everyone is open and willing to read just some ordinary person blab off about their own personal life, but it seems that you have, and I'll acknowledge that later!

So, with that out of the way, I'll continue to surf around, find out more about this whole "blogging" stuff and I'll drop you a line a little later.

God Bless & Prayers
~Josh
