Chapter 18: Stressed out and Preachin'

Praise God!

Welcome to my newest blog. This one won’t be of any great significance or anything but (wait, does any of my blogs have significance?..lol - yes, yes they do, even if you don’t think they have it) anyways, but yeah. I am not in an overly good mood, but it’s good to be home! School was way to hectic for me today. (Which say isn’t eh? -lol) But yeah - today was just overly bad. Harvey nearly killed me this morning in Science, snooze, snooze, SNOOZE! Holy cow man! Not fit! I think I fell asleep once or twice, and to make matters worst Tash wasn’t even there. Shameful it was. -lol
Next I had Math, it was ok. Geography followed and trust me, if I had a way to get out of it I so would. We have a mid term on Thursday in it. Not fit at all. I’m thinking about dropping Academic Geography because I really wants to focus in on my English 110%! I needs English more then Geography anyways, so - yeah! I’ll see how that goes.

Anyways, Council meeting today was horrible. I won’t go into much detail because it’s all between the council members but it was one big racket. Despite the racket we managed to get it settled but it was easily seen the some people didn’t approve of it. Thank God for the good ol’ voting system - haha! Now, for the funny part - wait I won’t even, but trust me - it is a pretty good case of Karma (as if it even exist, but.. If it did..lol) Oh my, but yeah, as you can see, today was a lil’ bit stressed.

So yeah, I am reading Exodus now in my bible. Quite interesting man! Moses was an amazing person and man, how did he obey God! I’m only at chapter 10, but I only started last night. I think we all needs to catch up on our devotional time. Personally I have been neglecting it a lil’ more then I should have been. I know it’s hard to actually sit down and read and “study”, especially when you’re not a fan of reading (but I usually am)... I think it’s something we all struggle with, but man, when we do focus in and study God’s word, things happen. Praise God! You learn so much, grow so much and more besides. God really opens your eyes, and ears and just gives you a clear mind in a lot of situations. So guys, I’m encouraging you all to start reading more and more. Even when you don’t feel like it, do it anyways. Same goes to prayer. That is one thing (of a nice few things actually) that ties us closer to God. Personally prayer is the one thing that keeps me sane during the days. Now I don’t mean you kneel at your bed and pray your little heart out and fold your hands and blah, blah, blah.... suppose it’s even praying during a class at school, a few minutes at work, wherever - it really, REALLY helps - a lot! We should be spending more and more time praying and reading our Bibles and stuff... if we want to see a change, we need to change!  Praise God! We need to fix our lives entirely on God and not on the world. Anyways, I can start to preach now but I won’t - lol - but yeah, just thought I’d have my say for today!

Church was good last night, I left before “preaching” because my back and head were killing me. God moved and it’s good. Rudy told me (well his blog did..lol) all about it. God is moving guys, and we need to prepare ourselves so that we don’t be left out of His works! Anyways, yeah, I think I am gonna head off - yet again -

So yeah, thanks for listening (well really it’s reading..lol)

God Bless & Prayers
~Josh
