Chapter 38: Sahara, Da Vinci and Church

Hey Everyone;

Another mighty fine day. The weather is pretty crappy outside and I’m not in much of a mood to go outside in the rain or anything so... what did I do all day(so far)? Watched the movie “Sahara”. It’s actually a pretty good movie. Now I’m not going to go into all great detail cause last time I done that with ‘Flightplan’ a number of people nearly beat me to death cause I ended up ruining it. Anyways, ‘Sahara’ is a VERY suspenseful, action movie. The main jip of the movie is it’s about these two treasure hunters who are looking for this “phantom ship” (aka: the death ship). Noone thinks that the tale of the ship is true due to the fact it is suppose to be found in the desert of Africa. And well... desert, ship... you know the two just don’t mix. Anyways.. The other side of the story is a WHO (World Health Organization) member is studying a “plague” that is killings a large number of people. The hunters somehow (I won’t say how) teams up with the WHO member and is trying to stop this plague and find out what’s causing it. Turns out that this bad guy is dumping thousands of gallons of toxins underneath the earth and it’s seeping into the ground. He’s teamed up with some kind of “government” (the bad kind) member and says that “noone cares about Africa”. They’re doing it for the money .... lol, anyways... I’ll stop it at that and I think I said one thing that I shouldn’t have. It’s not a “brand new” movie anyways so it doesn’t really matter and I’m sure a number of you have already watched it. So yeah, it’s really good. I strongly urge you all to get it and watch it... it’s pretty good. Despite the number of killings in the movie (mostly bad guys) it really depicts the actual type of government in Africa (or in parts), and there is like 3 swears in the entire movie- which is a major plus.

Anyways... next topic...

I’m in the process of reading the Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown. I started it a long time ago but never paid much attention to it. I’m currently reading it and will offer my two cents when it’s complete... and might I add - IF I complete it. Dan is a sick, sick man and why bother to read the sicko’s book... the sermon on GC thinks we should.. So I will... lol

Anyways, church was pretty awesome last night. God moved mightily which is exactly what we need. He met with a number of people and great things were accomplished in people’s lives.

Anyways... I’m in a hurry so I’m gone!

Peace

Prayers

~Josh
