I'm still letting the wake-a-thon (which I now dubbed 'wake-e') soak in.. trying to recall what happened there. haha! It was great fun I'll admit. I won't talk to much about it and I'm not posting alot of pics of it YET... I'll get it up by Monday I'm sure.. :) I'll post these two.. my personal favorite.. haha... here:

Congrats to Ellen for sweeping the Day-Time Emmy awards last night. I wish I had watched at least her win.. she seems so cool, in a funny sort of way! ha! I love her show, she always keeps it down-to-earth and highly entertaining... which is good alone.

I think it's pretty sad that anyone would let themselves be RUINED on the DaVinci Code.
well it's not "sad" it TRUE! Millions of people will possibly read that book and think Jesus IS what it says it is in THAT book! That's why I SO against this book! It is gonna lead more people AWAY from Christ then you would ever believe! TRUST ME.... IT WILL HAPPEN!
THIS is where us Christians steps in and shows the world who the REAL JESUS IS :)
I stand by my earlier statement - Dan Brown is a sick man, the book is HORRIBLE and I STILL STAND BY THIS THE MOST - CHRISTIANS SHOULD NOT READ THIS BOOK! GOD DOESN'T WANT HIS PEOPLE TO READ SUCH LIES!
It's called fiction, and hopefully any Christian will see it in that way, and not let it question what they believe. I don't think the book should be put out of production or anything, because the entire world isn't Christian, as much as we all might wish it was. There are other religions out there, and there are people who just don't HAVE a belief system. For them, it's just an interesting book, that gives them a different outlook on an old "story" they've heard before.
I put "story" in "", because for alot of people, that's just what it is- a story. We know it's true, but... there's just alot of people who don't. So alot of people who read it aren't being led away- they're just reading. And in the end, it may have no more effect on them then the Stephen King book I finished last night.

THAT IS NOT WHAT I AM OVERLY WORRIED ABOUT! I AM WORRIEDED ABOUT THE NON CHRISTIANS, THOSE WHO DON'T REALLY KNOW CHRIST - sorry caps lock was on.. lol... but yeah.. for someone who don't know much about Jesus and for them to read such a thing... they are more likely to say 'yeah, this is what and who Jesus is'... and to me.. that don't float.
I get what your saying about others beliefs and all.. just... it's crazy. As for it's a "story"... BULL! DAN BROWN MEANS IT MORE THEN A STORY! He is saying that it is a "story" so the Church's wouldn't over power him and over ride the right to publish the book... yet he defendes it has "facts" most of the times.. yet calls the book fiction! *rolls eyes*!
Not everyone goes into as much detail on the background of an author each time they read a book *eye roll*
