Chapter 73: I Ain't Cheep Either

Hey;

So, how was everyone's day? Mine was actually good because this is the first day (since 11am at the least) that my head hasn't been hurting VERY bad! :) I'm actually proud that I haven't taken a pill in about 10:30ish - it's not fun and I HATE taking pills, BUT when it comes to pain in my head I can't handle it therefore pills come in handy.

Anyways, if you haven't noticed (if you didn't leave now.. haha) I have a new look - again. I'm still looking around for 'the one' but I actually like this one. I'm trying to fix up a few bugs it has but nothing major so... it's all good. This one looks a little more 'grown up' if you wish, which is the kind of look I'm going for. :)

Anyways, that's not the point of this blog, but rather I just wanted to very simply comment on something I just watched on TV. I got home from work and sat down with a hamburger(yes, it was my supper) I flicked on the Prayer Palace. The pastor on there was singing 'I was bought by God' and when he stopped he said 'I wasn't cheep either'. I'll admit that I wasn't really listening to the words of the song but caught the last part. When he said that comment I just stared at the screen. I didn't get it. - Until he started to sing again.
But hey, 'I'M NOT CHEEP'! I'm not! I was bought with a price, and it what it costed is just a 'tad bit more' then ANYONE else is willing to pay for me. Some people might not even pay a nickle for me, while others might just pay a toonie or two but there is ONE person that paid for me, all of me. Jesus paid the ultimate price for me when he took my place on the cross. When he shed his blood and gave himself for me - THAT was what he paid with - His life!
Jesus not ony paid for me, but he paid for YOU! That's right, when he died - he died for YOU too!
After the pastor from Prayer Palace sang, he opened it up to anyone who wanted to 'come to know Jesus as their personal saviour'. I want to invite you to do that as well. It doesn't matter where you are, who you are or what you have done in your life. Jesus paid for ALL of it and he WANTS to have you, all of you. I trust that you would make the lifelong choice to live for Jesus and be a part of the eternal life that HE offers so freely.

God Bless
Prayers
Joshua
