Chapter 8: The Holy One

Hey guys, I am posting a poem I wrote tonight. It's more of a song but I'll call it a poem, even though it's in a song format. I even have a tune and have been singing it all night, I must say - I thought it was pretty good! (lol).. anyways... here:


The Holy One

No matter where we are
No matter how far
we seems to have gone
No matter what’s the time
No matter what’s the crime
that we commit

And after all that’s said and done
We’ll lift our hands to the holy One
To the Holy One....

And we’ll bow down to You
After all that you do
For us
And we’ll sing praises to the King
And glory we will bring
To lift Your name
To the Holy One

No matter what can’t erased
From our minds
We’ll look to the skies
And watch our souls rise
To the Holy One
